The most important element of any brass lesson is developing musicality in a fun, easy to understand and encouraging way. You can choose whether to learn just for fun, work toward grades with the ABRSM or Trinity or developing performance technique for a recital.
Lessons are available for anyone aged 7 years and upwards on any of the following brass instruments:
- Tenor Horn
- French Horn
- Trombone (& bass trombone)
- Tuba (including Eb Bass/Bb Bass)
Brass lessons are available for 30 minutes or 60 minutes and you can choose to have lessons on a weekly or fortnightly basis. Spaces for lessons are often limited, however, if necessary I am able to put you on my brass lessons reserve list until a suitable time becomes available. I am happy to work in treble clef or bass clef if you play a baritone, euphonium, trombone or tuba and can help you develop tenor and alto clef reading if you require. If you wish, you can book a brass lesson online by visiting the bookings page. Click here to book your lesson now.
Please contact me if you wish to have a one-off consultation lesson for a grade performance, concert or recital.
Theory is an important part of developing musical understanding. Although it is possible to book music theory lessons, elements of theory that relate to practical music making will be taught during every lesson.
